Our report, "Leading the Way to a Clean Ocean," highlighted the damage caused by plastic pollution and noted that more than 80 local and national governments worldwide have taken action to cut plastic pollution by banning or imposing fees on disposable plastic bags. Staff members (including Ben Davis, shown in Santa Barbara with State Assemblymember Das Williams, left) released the report in a series of press conferences up and down the state.
