Grand Canyon saved from toxic mining—for now.

Faced with mining threats to the Grand Canyon, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar placed a temporary moratorium on new mining claims near the canyon's borders. Environment California helped rally the more than 300,000 people who urged Sec. Salazar to take this action. Now we need to show that same support and more for Yosemite.
