LOS ANGELES—Environment California, a state-based environmental advocacy organization working for a cleaner, greener, and healthier California, announced its endorsement of 10 Californians running for the 115th Congress. These candidates are:

U.S. Senate – Kamala Harris

CA-02 Jared Huffman

CA-10 Michael Eggman

CA-21 Emilio Huerta

CA-25 Bryan Caforio

CA-26 Julia Brownley

CA-27 Judy Chu

CA-33 Ted Lieu

CA-47 Alan Lowenthal

CA-49 Doug Applegate

Through their voting records and their expressed support of Environment California’s key issues — including global warming, sustainable pollination, electric vehicle proliferation, clean water and solar energy — these candidates have earned both our trust and our endorsement.

“When it comes to protecting the environment, California leads the way,” stated Dan Jacobson, Environment California state director. “Our governor and state legislature have led the way here in Sacramento, across the USA and around the world. We need a Congressional delegation that can take the great work happening in Sacramento and bring it to D.C.”

Whether they are challengers like Michael Eggman, Bryan Caforio, Emilio Huerta, and Col. Doug Applegate or the perennial, pro-environment incumbents we find in Jared Huffman, Julia Brownley, Judy Chu, Ted Lieu, and Alan Lowenthal, or Senate candidate Kamala Harris, Environment California looks forward to building a sustainable future with them all. This past fall, Environment California also endorsed Hillary Clinton for President.
