Jobs

Environment California is currently hiring. If you’re ready to speak up and take action to protect California’s air, water and open spaces, we may have a position for you. We are currently seeking applications for:

Environment California State Field Organizer

The Environment California State Field Organizer works across the state to build long-term political power for the organization primarily by developing district-level networks of key constituencies, experts, media, and activists.  The Field Organizer mobilizes that network around current campaigns, seeking to influence California decision makers to win concrete victories. Environment California’s priority issues include solving global warming, promoting clean energy, protecting open spaces and limiting public exposure to dangerous toxic chemicals. More.

Environment California Environmental Fellowship

We are accepting applications for an Environmental Fellow to work with Environment California or one of our partner state environmental groups around the country. Fellows serve as the organization’s public face for their program areas, and responsibilities include research, lobbying, media outreach, fundraising, and more. More.

Environmental Campaign Staff

Now is the time to work for change. This summer we have the opportunity to take big steps toward ending our dependence on oil, reducing global warming pollution and preserving our state's environment. But there's one thing that we know we need to win--citizen support and grassroots action. That's why we've partnered with the Fund for the Public Interest to hire college students, graduates, and activists across the state to go out into communities to talk with citizens about the issues, raise money, and build membership for Environment California. Staff also have the opportunity to work with the media, build coalitions and mobilize activists. Similar positions are available in more than 50 offices across the country.
