Global warming is the most profound threat of our time. From the threat of rising sea levels and
shrinking snowpack, to extreme drought and increased wildfires, the dangers of
climate change are cause for immediate action.
The good news is that we have many tools at our fingertips
to begin solving the problem. With more
energy efficient homes and businesses, cars that go farther on a gallon of gas,
and renewable energy like wind, solar and biomass, we can begin to sharply
reduce global warming pollution from the largest sources. Even more, these solutions will create jobs,
reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, clean the air and protect pristine
places from mining and drilling.
