Marine protected areas can give animals room to roam

California's delicate marine ecosystems are at risk. Right now, state officials are considering putting a new protected area from offshore of Santa Barbara down to San Diego, and we're working to make sure it happens, and that protections are as strong as possible.

Letter Dear Marine Protection Task Force, It's important for California to protect all sea life - from the largest to the smallest animal. I urge you to support the strongest marine protected area proposal available (the Group 3 Conservation proposal), which best protects our most unique and diverse ocean habitats.
