Green Cars for California


If California is going to continue to lead the way on cutting global warming pollution, if we are going to clean up our air, we need to start making cars that are not only greener, but are zero-polluting.

Our vision is that by 2022, California will have a million zero-polluting cars on the road.

We're calling on the governor to set ambitious goals for super-efficient and zero polluting cars. It's time to bring the breakthrough technologies to the market.

Dear Gov. Schwarzenegger,

If California is going to continue to lead the way on cutting global warming pollution, if we are going to clean up our air, we need to start making cars that are not only greener but are zero-polluting.

Please direct the Air Resources Board to require more plug-in hybrid and all electric cars to be sold as part of our Clean Car Program, so that by 2022 there are 1 million fuel-free vehicles on our roads.
