California led the nation by establishing the Clean Cars Program in 2002 to fight global warming. But last year, the Bush administration blocked California's Clean Cars Program. Now, the Obama administration is considering reversing this decision.

Letter Dear US EPA Secretary Jackson: It is time to get serious about global warming. California has been leading the country on global warming solutions for years. Our Clean Cars Program is one of the most powerful steps California has taken to stop global warming. It is high time for the federal government to become our partner in solving global warming. Please grant California's waiver request for our Clean Cars Program. Building cleaner cars is one of the best ways we can solve global warming while also building a stronger, greener economy.
